Fables

Fables and Myths
PDF | DOC

Ninth-Twelfth Grades
(ages 14-18)

Assign 4 or 5 fables or myths as reading homework.  After discussing the stories, ask the students to write their own fables or myths.  The stories can be set in the country or era of  their choosing.  The fables must teach the reader a lesson about life.  Time frames need to stay consistent (no electricity in ancient Greece) and can be during modern times.

The stories should be at least five double-spaced pages long with a title page.

Reformatting old fables or myths should not be allowed.
Artwork can be included, but not counted in the page length.
