Global Academy's administrator has had a very busy summer so far. With school beginning soon in the northern hemisphere, we hope to have the updates back on a regular schedule in August and the major changes online in September.

Pandas International Pennies 4 Pandas campaign is a long-term fundraiser for replacing the bamboo forests destroyed in the May 2008 Sichuan earthquake. They also need donations for two new cubs born on July 7, 2009. Global Academy's administrator was one of the volunteer panda keepers for new mother Gong Zhu last month. The Classroom Adoption Program is still having issues with Paypal.  If your school would like to participate, please email your information so that it can be kept on file until an adoption can be made.  At that time, payment information can be sent to you.  Adoption requests will stay on file for one school year.
