Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of
1998. In relation to this law, Global Academy does not
publish the last name, specific location, or email
address of any person under the age of 18.
Submission emails
are kept on another medium to reduce
the potential access of isp addresses
by hackers. Personal addresses and telephone numbers are not kept on
file.
Members of the
Classroom
Adoption Program (school administrators and faculty) will be contacted to
ensure their current employment at the school listed on the
application. It is the responsibilty of the schools to
do a thorough criminal background check. When possible,
Global Academy will schedule a visit with a member
school. These measures are to reduce the possibility of
a child predator contacting the students participating in the

Submissions to
Destinations, Voices, and
Global
Village will be reviewed before
posting. Content determined to be hateful (saying
that someone should die, etc.)
will be discarded.
Negative comments (disliking something for a reason) are
allowed. The administrator reserves the right
to refuse submissions for any reason and without
notification.
Global
Academy has a strict policy on advertisements.
Only organizations sponsored by this website will be
allowed on our
Links page. Global Academy
reserves the right to cancel a sponsorship at anytime, for any
reason. The administrator and associates of Global
Academy are not responsible for outside advertisements, or
items sold, by our sponsors. Email addresses will never
be traded or sold.
Global Academy does not discriminate on the basis of
religion, race, gender, color, national origin, age, or
disability.
